The Navigator is a quarterly Newsletter by the Jackson Area Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency, Inc. (JACOA), created in the fall of 2001 under the title West Tennessee Outlook.  The name was officially changed to The Navigator in 2002. 

The purpose of the newsletter is to inform addiction professionals and the community of activities and updates within the organization, as well as educate the public, increase awareness, and provide tips on how to help prevent friends and loved ones from falling prey to the disease.
