JACOA's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) meets every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm for 32 sessions. Lectures, group discussions, psycho-educational media, and written activities are designed to address, and enhance relapse prevention strategies, life management skills, general coping skills, anger management, stress management, mental health (co-occurring disorder) wellness, AA 12-step work, family issues, and recovery and wellness planning.

Additionally, we hope to instill in our clients, effective skills in healthful relationship building, conflict resolution, assertive communication, prioritizing, goal setting, building supportive peer recovery systems, and improving self-esteem.

Upon successful completion of the intensive outpatient program, each client will receive a Certificate of Completion.
