Programs

The Jackson Area Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency (JACOA) is licensed by the State of Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to provide Alcohol and Drug Residential Rehabilitation treatment for 41 clients, Alcohol and Drug Non-Residential Rehabilitation Treatment (Intensive Outpatient Program - IOP), and Alcohol and Drug DUI School Services. JACOA offers a complete continuum of care, is co-occurring capable (CODC), and serves all of the counties in West Tennessee, also accepting service recipients from any county across the State of Tennessee.

Inpatient Program

Choosing and committing to a treatment program may be one of the biggest decisions you'll ever make. JACOA has 17 residential beds for females and 24 residential beds for men. Each service recipient sees our staff physician for a physical within the first week of admission.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

We know that addiction is a progressive disease and must be treated as such.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Designed to address and enhance relapse prevention strategies, life management skills, general coping skills, anger and stress management, mental health wellness.

DUI Classes

JACOA's DUI School is licensed by the TN Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

Men's Housing

All applicant must have completed a 28 day inpatient program within the past 6 months to apply.

Women's Housing

JACOA has two facilities that can house up to 15 women for permanent housing to help residents reintegrate into the community.

Early Intervention Classes

Classes are ONLY for the individuals who are at least 18 years old and in the Beginning Stage of chemical dependency.

Tennessee Teen Institute

A five day camp to provide education and training in youth development, leadership, and prevention.

After Care Meetings

Open to anyone in recovery that is seeking long-term support and access to a network of likeminded individuals.
